Following the overwhelming success of NAAA’s Pathways to the Skies symposium, which brought together over 130 participants and nearly three dozen aviation professionals, one thing became clear: the interest in aviation careers across Indian Country isn’t just growing… it’s ready for takeoff.

 Participants didn’t just attend, they leaned in, asked questions, and wanted more. More detail. More guidance. More connection to the people already navigating these careers.

So, NAAA is answering that call.: Introducing Wings of Opportunity: Aviation Career Series, a high-impact, five-part webinar experience designed to go beyond inspiration and into action. Each session is a deep dive into a specific aviation career, led by seasoned professionals who will share not just what they do, but how they got there, and how you can too.

Summer (June 2026): “Wings of Opportunity” - Aviation Career Series, will be focused webinars are specific careers in aviation. Expect these informative sessions, that will last about 90 minutes to 2 hours to cover specifics on careers as a pilot, air traffic controller, aircraft maintenance, aerospace engineering, commercial and business aviation operations, and more.

“The Sky’s the Limit: Exploring Aviation Careers for Indian Country,” will offer a dynamic two-day program combining career exploration, STEM education, and cultural celebration. On Day 1, participants will explore aviation career pathways, learn about the science of flight, and engage in interactive career workshops featuring Native professionals and educators sharing insights and resources. Day 2 will spotlight cutting-edge aviation technology, including drones, while celebrating Native heritage through storytelling and innovation. Concluding with mentorship opportunities and inspiring messages, the event will provide attendees with tools and inspiration to soar into aviation careers while honoring their cultural roots.  Participation is free!!!
